COMBINE – Blue Conrad on the move!

logoConrad is blue, large and takes a Mercedes lorry to pull him (him, her, it) and was specifically constructed to investigate the viability of using different kinds of crops (semi-natural grasslands, road side verges, rushes, bracken, gorse) which are often perceived as problem habitats. The aim is to findBeauty out whether these crops can be used to manufacture what will be viable biomass fuel with a multitude of economic, environ-mental and social benefits – three pillars of sustainable development.

GREEEN Kick-off meeting in Göttingen

Get ready 2 work: Train the trainer course

logoIn the last week of January a two-day workshop for 13 Bulgarian trainers took place in Sofia. Its goal was to develop the content and an organisational structure for an 8 weeks training programme for young Bulgarians outside the labour market. The workshop was held by project members from BUPNET and die Berater, Austria and hosted by the lead partner, Catro Bulgaria.

Get Ready 2 Work – Study Visit in Vienna

logoGet Ready 2 Work aims to contribute to active employment of disadvantaged groups in the labour market in Bulgaria, i.e. young people (15-25) from socio-economically disadvantaged backgrounds, who have failed to complete their education and/or vocational training. 50 young people will be trained in a 2-month course to prepare them for an internship either in Bulgaria or, for 15 of them, in Austria. The training will primarily focus on language training (English or German) and communciation skills.
