Vilma goes Lithuania

  • by

During the last meeting of the VILMA project partners participated in a conference on Assessment of Mobility Achievements” in Vilnius on November 13, 2012. It was organised by the Education Exchanges Support Foundation, the Lithuanian National Agency for the lifelong learning programme.

The overall theme of the conference was evidencing and assessment of informal and non – formal learning and benefits of the competences acquired during mobility from personal, organisational and the labour market perspective.

The VILMA partners actively contributed to the success of the conference.

Dr. Tim Scholze held a keynote speech on learning through mobility and in the afternoon session VILMA partners delivered workshops for the 150 conference visitors from all over Europe on ways to assess competence developments gained through mobility experiences with the LEVEL5 method.

The conference united a number of key actors in the field of European funded mobility mainly from the Baltic States, be it as speakers or participants. Among them were high representatives of the public administration and policy development institutions, from the economy, from universities and schools and a number of practitioners in the field of mobility.

The VILMA project and methods developed therein were received with great interest and many new contacts were made.
